UECC has docked a second ship in Falmouth with the arrival of Autostar. The RoRo vessel docked in Falmouth’s No 3 dock on Tuesday 6 August, hot on the heels of Autosun which docked in No 4 dock on Sunday 4 August.
UECC vessels make 3,000 port calls each year involving 70 different European ports and has a fleet of 23 purpose-built pure car and truck carriers, with vessel loading capacities ranging from 850 to 4500 cars. The Autostar can carry 2,080 cars and has 710m of car lane, and 16,870 m2 deck area.
Unusually, Falmouth has 3 car carriers in dock at the same time, as Grimaldi’s Grande Benin is also currently occupying Falmouth’s No 2 dock.
